We Gotta Adapt to Live with Corona Virus

Dear friends, We Gotta Adapt to Live with Corona Virus . As government plans to lift most of the restrictions from 6th July 2020, let us plan to take individual responsibility to protect and safeguard our families from contracting the disease. This is going to be so important since citizen responsibility is going to be the main thrust in achieving success. I wish to point out that lifting of restrictions of travel in Nairobi and Mombasa will surely result in a surge in numbers nationally. The risk to contract the disease will increase drastically. I beg that we take all steps necessary to remain compliant to basic approaches such as:
1. Observation of hygiene practices of hand washing or sanitization
2. Wearing of face masks
3. Avoiding non-essential travels
4. Avoiding social gatherings
5. Keeping social distancing.

The economy seems more important than human life. If we are not careful we will become part of that statistics and covid will achieve in a way population reduction. Given other diseases are still on and are causing deaths. Let’s do our best where we can.
