I remember the last day after finishing my KCSE exam at Anestar High School Nakuru my major worry was how to clear the huge school balance that I had accrued over the years. The following morning I went to thank one of the co-director of the school, Madam Gatimu, for allowing me to work in the same school as I study and I remember her looking at me and say,” Steve, you have worked so hard and again I have not seen anyone come thank me and for that reason I’ll clear all your fees arrears.” That to me was God’s hour of visitation. If I didn’t obey the inner voice that pushed me to go pass my Gratitude maybe she couldn’t have cleared the arrears. If you want to experience God’s hour of visitation, focus on His power, His sovereignty, His love for you and the fact that He has good plans for you. If you have an intimate relationship with God, there will always be a voice directing your path, ordering your steps for divine connection and divine provision. He’ll give you ideas and strategies. Do not fret over minor matters or things beyond your control, behold seek the values of the kingdom of God. Your anxiety will melt, your heart will swell with gratitude, your life will fill with meaning and you will discover the assurance that your ultimate destiny is in God’s hands. If we are honest with ourselves, many of us let our anxieties govern too much of our time. We worry about concerns that are minor in the scheme of things or we spend an inordinate amount of time worrying about things that are beyond our Control. When our worries control us, we view everything in a negative light. We don’t have enough money, we lack genuine friends, our work is meaningless, no one cares, …that is why Jesus said, “Look at the birds of the air…lilies of the valley…?” Fear is a thief and a murderer, you cannot trust God and fear at the same time. Let go all the worries and let God take charge and reign. @AmbSteveMbugua #ByWordOfOurMouth
