As Ambassador Steve Mbugua, I am honored to have been entrusted with three major life missions that define my personal, professional, and spiritual journey. Each mission is a reflection of my deep calling to serve God’s Kingdom, inspire the next generation, and build a safer world for all. These missions encompass my work as a Kingdom Financier, Intentional Encourager, and Ambassador of Safety. I believe these mandates are divinely ordained, and through them, I have dedicated my life, resources, and energy to make an impact both locally and globally.
Mission 1: Kingdom Financier
The Divine Mandate
My role as a Kingdom Financier is rooted in my unwavering commitment to support the work of God and His servants. The Church is not only a place of worship but a spiritual hub where lives are transformed. I believe the house of God and His servants should never be associated with shame or lack. My mission is to ensure the Kingdom of God operates in dignity, honor, and abundance.
I have committed the proceeds from my business ventures, book sales, speaking engagements, and safety-related initiatives to the financing of:
Mission Work: I actively support local and international mission activities, enabling missionaries to spread the gospel to unreached territories. I believe that financial empowerment is key to ensuring missionaries can focus on the work of God without worrying about personal or logistical needs.
Revival Activities: Revivals are an essential part of spiritual rejuvenation and awakening. Through financial support, I have helped organize and facilitate revival meetings that reignite the passion for Christ in local churches and communities globally. My mission is to restore God’s fire in people’s hearts.
Church Construction and Equipping: The construction of places of worship and the provision of quality facilities is central to my vision. I fund church building projects, especially in underserved areas, ensuring that pastors and congregants have conducive environments for worship and community development.
Supporting Pastors and Brethren: Many servants of God operate under immense financial pressure. I channel resources to ensure pastors are supported in their ministry, thus removing the burden of lack and providing them with peace of mind to focus on the spiritual well-being of their congregants.
Empowering Through Business Ventures
God has blessed me with business acumen and resources, which I see as tools for advancing His Kingdom. The profit from my companies, including Makinika Afrika International (a leading safety training firm) and Nairobi Safety Shop (a global provider of safety equipment), is reinvested into Kingdom work. Each book I write and each speaking engagement I attend has the ultimate goal of raising funds for Kingdom financing.
Through this divine assignment, I have seen lives transformed, churches erected, and missions expanded, all for the glory of God. It is my sincere prayer that this impact will continue to grow, so that no house of God or servant of His will ever be without the resources they need.
Expanding the Vision Globally
As a Kingdom Financier, I am deeply invested in expanding this mission to reach global proportions. God’s work is vast, and the needs are endless, but through collaboration with other believers, organizations, and like-minded individuals, we can collectively eliminate financial disgrace in the Kingdom. I call on every believer, pastor, business owner, and supporter of God’s work to join me in this mission.
Mission 2: Intentional Encourager
The Power of Encouragement
My second mission is to encourage, motivate, and inspire individuals, particularly young people, to pursue their dreams and fulfill their God-given purpose. As an Intentional Encourager, my heart is focused on guiding individuals to rise above the challenges they face, especially in today’s turbulent world, and to live purpose-driven lives.
I believe that many people are unaware of the potential within them, and without the right support and encouragement, they may never realize it. My mission is to be a constant voice of hope, helping individuals see beyond their current circumstances and unlock their true potential.
Books as Tools of Encouragement
One of the ways I fulfill this mission is through my books. I have authored several works that provide both spiritual and practical guidance, including:

The Africa Youth Rescue Initiative (AYRI)
To further this mission, I founded the Africa Youth Rescue Initiative (AYRI). As its president, I have had the privilege of reaching over 100 institutions and organized groups, where I speak directly to young people. The goal of AYRI is to enlighten, guide, and stir up young individuals to pursue their dreams in a God-honoring way, while making a positive impact on society.
The Africa Youth Rescue Initiative serves as a platform where young people can be mentored, encouraged, and provided with the tools they need to excel. Through workshops, seminars, and personal interactions, we guide youth toward careers, personal growth, and spiritual development, ensuring they live purposeful lives.
Mission 3: Ambassador of Safety
Building a Global Culture of Safety
My third mission is to help build a culture of safety on a global scale. As the world becomes more complex, safety is paramount in every sphere of life. Whether in homes, workplaces, schools, or public spaces, safety is a critical concern that cannot be ignored.
As the Ambassador of Safety, I have made it my mission to ensure that individuals, organizations, and nations are equipped with the knowledge, resources, and tools they need to prevent, prepare for, and respond to safety incidents. My focus is on making safety a priority in every aspect of life.
Makinika Afrika International and Nairobi Safety Shop
To achieve this, I founded two key organizations:
Makinika Afrika International – A leading safety training company that provides comprehensive training on fire safety, first aid, occupational health and safety, and emergency response. Through this initiative, we empower companies and individuals to become safety compliant, ensuring that they are equipped to handle any incidents.
Nairobi Safety Shop – A global supplier of quality safety equipment. Our products help organizations and individuals safeguard their environments, whether at work, at home, or in public places. By providing top-quality equipment, we ensure that safety is not compromised.
Local, Global, and Generational Impact
My work in safety extends beyond borders. I have had the privilege of working with local communities, national organizations, and global entities to enhance safety standards. My impact is generational, as the knowledge and skills imparted today will continue to save lives and improve safety for future generations.
