If you do not have anything to do, spend your time praying, reading and meditating on the word of God. Read some good inspirational books, have a meeting with yourself to focus on your future and arrive early. Time spent meditating is time invested and it has great rewards.
When I was jobless and hadn’t gotten any major source of income I would spend most of the time fasting, praying, in church inside a room alone meditating and we decided we would not be watching TV at home, apart from some special lessons programs and for sure during that time I compiled my 3 motivational books, volunteered at different facilities including bringing riders together along Thika road to talk to them about Road Safety and helped my wife to compile songs and came up with her first album and for sure we would sleep very late singing again and again..
Most of the great things and achievements that later came were all born during those times of meditation. I usually say that ‘Do Not Pray So much for God to hear you but pray until you hear God’. Meditation helps you to hear that small still voice telling you what to do and if you obey then supernatural will happen.
My friend, during this time that you feel lonely, alone, moment of lack and stubborn poverty please take time to meditate and hear what God is saying and whatever He tells you even if it is to text someone, visit someone or change your location, give something, walk out and go to a certain area, apply for a specific job etc please obey and you will experience supernatural backing and divine orchestration. It has happened to me dozen of times that is why I value ‘Me Time’ and can spend hours alone with a pen and note book writing down ideas, inspirations and strategies. Sometimes I take a book, write down Minutes of my meeting with God held at a specific place and time and with Clear Agendas, matters arising and way forward and rather than pray binding devils I discuss issues with God and take 80% of the time listening and for sure every still voice that I hear and record I have seen it come to be including when I told God I wanted a wife and that same week Is when I met her and 10 months later we had a colourful wedding. That is how I got ideas to start my 4 companies and to be an Ambassador of Safety. Sometimes during that quite time I do receive a whole sermon, put it down on a note book and immediately within few days or even hours I receive an invitation to go preach to an institution and the Holy spirit directs me to share that sermon.
A minute spent in the presence of God is worth more than years of investing, connection, hard work and hustle.
If you will learn this art of meditation, listening to God and praying until you hear God not just praying so much and never getting time to listen, if you obey the still voice then my friend you will experience divine leading and supernatural backing in everything and every way. Shalom.
