Hey friend, may I have your attention please?
It is the will of God that you may have life and have it in abundance. John10:10, The thief enters only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came so that they could have life—indeed, so that they could live life to the fullest.
Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life. You can’t do a good job if your job is all you do. You need to make choices, create time for family, friends, career, health and yourself. Sometimes you need to take yourself out, relax in a cool serene environment and meditate, think about yourself, evaluate your life and have a quiet time with God and nature. Sometimes you need to exercise, take a walk, ride a bicycle, run, go to the gym, swim, go for a mountain hike with friends, go dancing, a romantic whole day with your partner, climb trees…and keep fit in the process. Body exercise is biblical.
1 Timothy4:8, For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
Work to live, don’t live to work. Live and work but do not forget to play, to have fun in life and really enjoy it.
You can love your job but your job will not love you back and when you leave that office, they can hire a better person who will replace you and probably do better than you, but, you can never replace your life and no one can ever do it for you so live your life, enjoy, have fun, do what you love and love what you do but above all have a balance between family, career, health, friends and yourself.
